IIDA Students Members are enrolled in design schools across the world – from Alabama to Saudi Arabia. The Association recognizes the influence that young designers have on the profession and targets Student Members with the information and events that will begin a successful career. Great Bag Bash: IIDA Wisconsin has started a new tradition. In 2005 we had our first Susan Wohlitz Memorial Fundraiser as a volleyball tournament. The event has now evolved into a bag decoration event called the Great Bag Bash. There is a silent auction, games, food, drink, and of course a live auction when we auction off the bags designed that evening.  All proceeds from the event go to the Susan Wohlitz Memorial Fund which funds IIDA Wisconsin's scholarship programs. This years SWMF Bag Bash will be held on February 25, 2010. Cost for registration is $5 for students. Click here to register for the 2010 event.

Interior Perspectives: Two days of seminars and networking on April 28-29, 2010. This event is done in conjunction with the AIA Annual Convention at the Monona Terrace.  It's a great place to get connected!

IIDA Students Tour: This year Students will tour Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward on Thursday, January 14,2010 starting at noon. The tour will visit The Iron Horse Hotel, Interior Systems Inc., Milwaukee Public Market, Design within Reach, historic architecture and visiting  Milwaukee's trendiest stores and boutiques. Celebrate in Design: IIDA WI Annual Awards banquet.  Professional and Student design awards are given after a rousing silent and live auction. Winners of the competition will be announced in advance and presented during the event on Thursday, April 29, 2010. For the Student Awards- two awards will be given in each category: $1,000 for First Place and $575 for Award of Excellence. One Best of Competition award will also be awarded a $1,575 scholarship. IIDA/ ASID WI Student Interior Design Career DayIIDA and ASID work together to create an 8 hour day for students pursuing an Interior Design degree in the state of Wisconsin. The event will be held on February 19th, 2010 at the American Family Insurance building in Madison, WI. More infomation to follow for the 2010 event.
